Dear Columbia Yacht Club Members,

We wanted to introduce ourselves - we are Kelly Doherty and Costa Lallas. You may have heard that the ColYC Communications Committee is back up and running after our challenging year of Covid, and we are the volunteer Co-Chairs.  

Thankfully, things are looking brighter this spring and summer and warmer weather is on the horizon. We anticipate some great events and more time aboard the Abby, and our committee will be all hands on deck to support these endeavors.

Join us: We are looking for volunteers who have any experience, professional or hobby, with public relations, writing, photography, social media, etc. to join us on the Communications Committee and help build excitement and interest around all the wonderful things taking place at the club.

Share your story: We’ll be collecting member stories and photos for use in various club communications, promotions, and social media. If you have a club-related story, update or photo to share, please send them to us at [email protected]. We’re interested in anything from your favorite club event memory to a photo of you and your crew winning a race -- and everything in between. 

We look forward to getting to know your stories better and helping foster deeper connections between our members.
