Chicago's Tourism Website
Take a walk along this historic 50-acre playground, Navy Pier. In the mood for a movie? Visit the pier's I-MAX Theatre. There are several restaurants including Riva, the Billy Goat Tavern and Margaritaville. Local knowledge - you can take Landshark and Margaritaville drinks in a to-go cup for a walk around the pier. Althought Columbia has the best view of the fireworks, they are launched from a barge off Navy Pier every Wednesday and Saturday night in the summer.
Willis Tower & the John Hancock Building
Head to the Skydeck of the country's tallest building. Don't fall off the Ledge! View the city below your feet -quite literally- from the 103rd Floor. Fun fact: on a clear day, you can see four states. Tickets are $18/person.
Don't feel like paying for an elevator ride? Enjoy drinks and dining in The Signature Room on the 95th floor of the John Hancock Building.
